UN(O)
The project is a survey on the thin boundary between our skin and the elements that surround
us. Our identities and these elements join to create a single unity (UNO),
a universe or a system, where living together and interacting with different entities allow us to get to a better knowledge and comprehension of
ourselves.
The body, source of perceptiveness/perception, contains the experiences it has gone
thorough, experiences that are often conditioned by its unconscious dependence on collective
imagination, that doesn’t allow it to find its own purity in natural
movement.
It is necessary to escape from the restrictions given by predetermined patterns, that express themselves in everyday gestures and that grant an automatic
satisfaction/self-confidence.
The tangible evidence is the physicalness and the self-memory/perception that a body shows when it is put in an
EMPTY-SPACE, so that it can recover its natural mobility, also re-drawing internal
spaces.
The body creates broken images that alternate with a liquid dance, hanging in space, that finds the opening to space in the breaking
point.
UN(O) aims at stimulating a new and often neglected sensibility in the audience, bringing them into a deeper dimension of their own Self.

"ZERO"
"ZERO" start from a reflection about evidence of body that exist for
its tangible nature.
The requirement of divest, minimize, abridge for rearrange a new memory.
The body is like a perceptive vehicle and sound medium in a sense of
lost condition in the act of crossing the space zones caused by wonky
and shaky walk
presented with a un-consequential liquid scores.
The body temporarily bides and waits its rebirth in some places of
space where the individual can be observed.

MPR 2020
(production 2002)
Evolution of spettri, the solo
that had marked Tino Schepis' individual debut, MPR 2020 was born
from a careful observation of animal habit, revisited in a futuristic
and fantascientific way.
An alternation of primordial mouvment and sharp mechanical mouvment
talking to metallic sounds creates effects, of a strong dynamic
contrast.
The incessant succession of images projected on the background goes
together with the metamorphosis narrated by the stage action.
The moving corp's energetic explosions are accompanied by the visions
of a disruptive nature and by images from fantascientific fancy.
In the second part of the performance a new form of life comes on
the stage, after dealing with the metamorphosis theme, the choreography
explores the endless possibilities suggested by the relation between
the two forms of life the meeting with a new entity break up the
fragile balance setting off a fight to assert one's own superiority,
that has like starting point the control over the area.
The engagement with something different becomes an essential stage
in the difficult way that takes to the comprehension of one's own
nature...

SPETTRI "
A clic and everything goes back"
(production 2001)
Three pictures tell the story
of an imaginary creature mades up of various aspects: the primordial
animal which arrives to experiment a cybernetic evolution, the choice
of contrasting dynamics mirrors the character's frames of mind.
Letting the immagination run anybody can go over again his own situations
of the past, of the present and of an hypothtical future.
